The Holdenville High School Powerlifting Team has earned the title of state champions! In Two divisions! The freshmen powerlifters won the state championship trophy in their division and the varsity is bringing home the state championship trophy if their division.

The Holdenville Junior High Powerlifters have set the standard for the expectations of this year’s powerlifters! The junior high powerlifters began the day with a state championship performance by Ruth Barker! Ruth entered the 97 pound division weighing 95 pounds.

Wolverines Basketball Season Ends at Jones There will be one and only one basketball team in class 3 A that ends its season with a win. All of the other teams in 3 A will end the season with a loss.

The Wolverines were behind 32-47 when Coach Dillion Snow called a time out shortly after half-time. Things were look-ing bleak and something needed to change. Holdenville couldn’t make a shot and Jones couldn’t miss. What ever Coach Snow said inspired his team to play better.
