WOLVERINES FALL TO ADAIR 14-20 The Holdenville Wolverines made the long trip to Adair last Friday and lost a heart breaker to the Warriors by a 14-20 margin. The Wolverines fought hard and were a few breaks away from advancing to the semi-finals of the state play-offs.
Holdenville running back # 16, Memphis Thionnet runs behind the blocking of # 0, Abe Gomez,# 52, Aaron Torres,# 8, Joe Remis and # 55 Brayden Black for a good gain.

The Holdenville Wolverines completely dominated the Kellyville Ponies in round one of the state play-offs and have earned the right to advance to quarterfinals. The game appeared to be a close contest throughout the first quarter and part of the second quarter but Holdenville put on a dominating performance prior to half-time.
These Wolverines served as Captains when Holdenville hosted Kellyville. # 52 Aaron Torres, # 60 Alyc Harjo, # 15, Tenetke Lowe, and # 55, Brayden Black. Holdenville defeated Kellyville 68-13 and will face Adair in the quarter-finals.

Holdenville’s 58-19 win at Comanche has become typical since Coach David Barker and his staff revitalized the program. It was just 5 years ago when the Wolverines were on the short end of these types of contests.
Holdenville running back # 2, RJ Lowe escaped from this Comanche would be tackler and raced to the end zone. Holdenville will host Kellyville on Friday.
