The Holdenville Wolverines traveled to Davis last Friday and played the Wolves for the district championship. The first half was a defensive struggle and the second half was just the opposite.

The Holdenville Wolverine defense featured a bend but don’t break theme when they faced a Community Christian School passing attack. The Royals threw the ball around but they could only muster up 7 points before the last play of the game when Holdenville’s reserves gave up a second score of the night.

The Holdenville Wolverines gridiron squad defeated a hard hitting Dibble Demon team last Friday by a score of 22-7. The contest was a classic to say the least.
