Wolverines sweep Okemah The Holdenville Wolverine basketball fans that made the trip to Okemah last Tuesday were treated to two of the finest high school basketball games in the history of the school! Girls win 53-50 Both Holdenville and Okemah girls were ranked in the top ten and the match lived up to the expectations. The game was close throughout and wasn’t settled until the final seconds when Okemah failed to connect on a desperate half court three point shot.

It takes many years of hard work and countless hours of tours. Congratulations Kaitlin!

Holdenville Boys and Girls have tough losses in tourney The first game in the Konawa Tournament went well for both the Holdenville boys and girls. The girls opened the tournament with a 68-37 win over Epic Charter School and the boys followed with a 7262 win over Seminole. Both squads played some of their best basketball of the year in the first round but didn’t follow through on the second and third round.

Holdenville Girls win Antlers’ Tournament The Holdenville Girls Basketball team started the week with a dominating performance over the McLoud Red Skins and finished the week with another dominating performance over Lone Grove. Holdenville whipped the Red Skins by a score of 86-52 and found very little competition in the tournament at Antlers.
