Holdenville played host to their first cross country meet of the year last weekend with over a dozen teams traveling to Holdenville Lake to compete in the Wolverine Invitational. The meet has traditionally had 30-40 teams, but the viral conditions of 2020 has caused the meet to down scale.
The 2020-21 Holdenville High School sports season begin this week when the softball team travels to McAlester for their season opener followed by a home game with Valiant on Tuesday and a road game with perennial rival, Weowka, on Thursday.
