Wolverine Head Basketball Coach, Dillion Snow, has been chosen as the Head Coach of the 2026 East All-State Squad. The All-State Game will be played at UCO on July 29 at 7:30.

July 15 was the first official practice for the Wolverine softball team. Coach Hannah Howell was new to Holdenville Schools and she was putting her team through some simple drills.

The Holdenville Wolverines traveled to Stroud on April 14 for the 66 Conference Track Meet and brought home an impressive amount of hardware. Zavien Sullivan out ran the competition in both the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash.

The Holdenville High School Softball Team opened the week with a 10-9 win over 15th a ranked Wetumka Team. The Wolverines picked up their second win of the week in a contest with Okemah in the 66 Conference Tournament with a solid run rule defeat over Okemah.

LEFTWICH HOLDS TWO WOLVERINE RECORDS

The Holdenville Wolverine Track Team traveled to Tishomingo last week for their first competition for the season and Kylierae Leftwich wasted little time in making her mark on the 2026 season. Leftwich already held the record in the shot put at 32 feet and her 102 ft 11 inch throw put her at the top of all-time Wolverine throwers in the discus.

I was warming up for the finals at the National Junior College Track Meet, I was approached by the distance coach at OU, Gary Lower. Coach Lower had a nucleus of a championship 2 mile relay team and he needed another runner.
Grayson Poulain ran the 1600 meter run in the Wolverines’ junior high track meet at Okemah. Grayson will compete again when Holdenville travels to Tishomingo on Tuesday.
