Fall Sports Seasons begin The Holdenville High School sports seasons will begin in a flurry this week. The softball team will play three games this week! The cross country team will host an invitational meet! Football practice will begin! The band is practicing!

Softball season set to start The 2021 fast pitch softball season will begin Monday August 9 when the Wolverines host Morris. The game time is set for 5 on Monday and the two squads will face-off the next day at Morris.

Holdenville’s stellar catcher, Stevie Huff carries lots of stuff! The Wolverine catcher said she carries around approximately 75 pounds of stuff! No matter how much stuff she carries, Huff is expected to be a play a major role in another successful Wolverine season!

Coaches take courses about Athletic Injuries Every person who works as a coach in an Oklahoma public school is required to take a series of courses in athletic injuries. Wolverine coaches have already had the college level course in Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries.

Wolverines Welcome New Head Coach Thomas Walser has been selected as Holdenville’s new football coach. Walser takes over for Coach Monte Lewis who has moved back to Kansas to become the head coach at a Wichita area high school.
