Holdenville News Wolverine of the Week Holdenville News Female Wolverine of the Week Lexington edges Wolverines 34-28 Things were looking good for the Holdenville Wolverines when they led 7-0 over the Lexington Bulldogs at the end of the first half. The Wolverines had scored a touchdown when Cy Tiger bulled his way into the end zone and when Christian Zambrano split the uprights with the extra point that gave Holdenville a 7-0 lead.

Brooklyn Brown is the female Wolverine of the week. Brooklyn had an outstanding week at the plate and was an important factor in Holdenville’s district championship..

The Holdenville Wolverine softball team had a productive week! The Ladies began the week with wins over Sasakwa and Okemah and finished the week with a two game sweep over Heavener to win the district championship. Holdenville had solid wins over Heavener. The Wolverines won 9-2 in the first game and completed the sweep with a 9-1 win.

Bailey Black is the Wolverine Scholar Athlete of the Week. Bailey is a starter on the Wolverine softball team and carries a perfect 4.0 gpa..

Good Week for Wolverine Sports Last week was a near perfect week for Holdenville Wolverine sports. Coach Rick Scott’s softball team won three games and went undefeated for the week.
