Band Practice Underway A wiseman once said: “The secret to success is hard work”. The Holdenville High School Golden Pride Band is definitely successful and they definitely put in the work! The band meets early every morning and they march from 7 to 9:30.

Angel Johnson to lead Wolverine JH Softball Holdenville has had three state tournament appearances in softball. The Wolverines went to state in slow pitch twice and fast pitch once.

Wolverines to rely on strong pitching This should be a rebuilding year for the Wolverine fast pitch softball team, but Head Coach Rick Scott is optimistic that it will be more of a reloading year.

Holdenville head Softball Coach, Rick Scott and his assistant, Casey Lavalley are anxious to begin the 2022 Fall Fast Pitch Season! The Wolverines lost several key players off last year’s team and the coaches are ready to begin rebuilding with several young talented players!.

“ Dead Week” is over and it’s time for some of the 2022-2023 sports seasons to begin. The OSSAA has set July 15 as the first day that schools can have an official softball practice. Cross Country can also have official practices on that same date.

Holdenville High School Head Softball Coach, Rick Scott is definitely looking forward to the beginning of softball season. Scott will begin the season without several stellar players who have graduated and moved on to play college ball.

The Holdenville Softball Program will host a youth camp for students in K-6 grade on July 19 & 20. The camp will begin each day at12 noon and conclude at 2:30. The campers should report to the softball complex with gloves, water bottles, sunscreen and a swimsuit.

Dead Week Everything in high school athletics is shut down. The facilities are closed! The coaches are not there.

Holdenville Cheerleaders Win Awards The 2022-23 school year is rapidly approaching and one of this year’s athletic squads has already established it’s self as an elite award winning team. The 2022-23 Holdenville High School Cheer Squad has been to summer camp and has won several awards!
