DAH’MYAH OLDEN EARNS ALL-SATE HONORS

Holdenville basketball standout, Dah’Myah Olden, has made the 2025 All-State Team. Myah was chosen by the Oklahoma Girls’Basketball Coaches Association as one of the top ten players in Class 3A and 4A.
DAH’MYAH OLDEN HAS EARNED ALL-STATE HONORS IN BASKETBALL! Myah will play in the All-State game at Mustang High school on May 31.

The 2025 Spring sports seasons will begin with full fury this week. There will seldom be a day over the next few weeks when the ball parks west of town are empty. Holdenville will host some sort of contest in high school or junior high baseball or softball.
Myah Olden has been selected as the 66-Conference Player of the Year. Olden was selected by the 66-Conference Coaches as the most outstanding player in the conference.

SPRING SPORT SEASONS BEGIN

It’s reasonable that Holdenville High School sports fans would go through basketball withdrawals. Both the boys and girls have had good seasons. The teams have been exciting to watch. And, this is the time of year that players and coaches are awarded honors for their outstanding coaching and playing. However, as the old cliche’ reminds us…..time marches on.

Wolverines Play-off Journey Ends The journey through the district, regional and area tournaments can be tough. Every team begins with a chance to make it to the Big House.

The Holdenville Boys and Girls basketball teams began the regional tournament with a disastrous night at Jones. The girls began the night with a 27-33 lost to the Longhorns and the Holdenville Boys followed with a 4968 loss.
Sometimes Holdenville’s Kase Sipes moves so fast he can make a defender’s dreadlocks twirl. Sipes made a quick move and Okmulgee’s Javin Hutchison’s dreadlocks just couldn’t keep up.
