Holdenville Public Schools has hired a new softball coach! The school administration may have hit a home run with this new hire! Hannah Howell has extremely awesome credentials and she has agreed to coach at Holdenville and be in charge of the Wolverine Softball Program. Holdenville Athletic Director, Darin Johnson, produced the following impressive press release concerning the new coach: Holdenville Athletics is proud to welcome Coach Hannah Howell as the new Head Coach of the Holdenville Lady Wolverines Softball Team! Coach Howell brings a strong foundation of collegiate playing and coaching experience to the program.

HHS SENDS THREE TO ALL-STAR CLASSIC IN ADA

Transition Time There’s lots of things going on with Wolverine sports. Several 2025 seniors are participating in all-star games, one major sport is without a coach and the underclassmen are preparing for the 2025-2026 sports seasons.
Holdenville basketball coach, Dillion Snow, was chosen to coach the East squad in the 2025 Ada Area All-Star Classic. Holdenville players Myah Olden, Princess O’Neil and Bella Smith played on the East Squad.

Malachi Henderson, Myah Olden and Bella Smith have been formally inducted into the Holdenville High School Athletic Hall Of Fame. The list of individual awards these athletes have accumulated is impressively long and they are all extremely deserving of having their picture hanging in the Hall of Fame Room.
Dah’Myah Olden and Bella Smith were both inducted into the HHS Sports Hall of Fame after banner seasons in multiple sports.

LEFTWICH COMPETES AT STATE

Holdenville High School track athlete, KylieRae Leftwich, finished 4th in her flight at the state track meet in Plainview. Leftwhich threw 92’4” to finish in the top half of her flight and 12th overall. KylieRae is an underclassman and will have more opportunities to improve and return to state in the future. Rachel Kirk was the overall winner with a throw of 133 feet to easily outdistance the field.
TRISTIN GOODMAN WILL BE AN ECU CHEERLEADER! Tristin has signed with the East Central Tigers. Holdenville High School Principal Shawn Richmond and Athletic Director Darin Johnson were on hand as Tristin signed with the Tigers

Holdenville Has High Hopes for Regional Track Meet The Holdenville High School Boys and Girls Track Teams will travel to Atoka on Saturday to compete in the regional track meet. A finish in the top three in any event will qualify an athlete or relay team for the state meet.
High Flying Princess......Holdenville track athlete, Princess O’neill, takes off from board in the Long Jump Competition at the Prague Invitational Track Meet. The Holdenville High School Track Team will travel to Atoka on Saturday for the regional meet.

WOLVERINES COME FROM BEHIND TO DEFEAT MORRIS.

Holdenville started the game with Morris by building a 4 run lead in the first inning. The Wolverines started off the game with a walk by Alivia Griesinger and she scored Holdenville’s first run.. Addison Brown added three more runs with a 3 RBI triple.
