Dr. Charles Max Williams was born July 10, 1945 in Wewoka, OK to Charles and Lois (Lollis) Williams. As a young child, he assisted with the building of their new family home. At the age of 10, the family moved into their new home just North of Holdenville, OK. Max grew up as an only child, but he always thought of his cousin, Carolyn Leslie, as his older sister.
