Wanda Price

Wanda Joan Price passed away Thursday, September 24th, 2026 at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 85.

Joan was born March 30th, 1941 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Jack D Skaggs and Annie Marie (Stillwell) Skaggs. Joan graduated from Holdenville High School. She married Jerry Price on January 21, 1959 in Allen, Oklahoma. Joan worked as a Shipping Clerk for Tinker AFB for many years and retired in 2003. She was baptized in 1963 in the Baptist Church. Joan enjoyed dogs, Word Search, and cooking. She loved spending time with her family, friends, being at home and living a simple life. Joan dearly loved her grand dog Shiane Joan is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Marie Skaggs. She is survived by her husband Jerry Price of the home, and daughter Diane Price of Calvin, Oklahoma.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Holdenville Cemetery with Pastor Dane Robinson officiating.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
