Trista Renae Schultz

Trista Renae Schultz was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina to John and Sheila Schultz on October 28, 1980. She grew up in Prague, Oklahoma. She graduated from Prague High School in 1999. She was a member of the Pride of Prague Band and was a combat engineer in the National Guard. She went to college to work in the medical field and was a medical lab technician.

Trista enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and baking. She was always teaching her eldest daughter different recipes and taught her how to bake. She always showed up for all her children no matter what the occasion, whether it was her eldest daughter’s track and cross country meets, her middle daughter’s softball games or her son’s soccer games. She always made sure they knew she was there cheering them on. She was their loudest fan and number one supporter.

Trista was very active in church. She had a very close relationship with the Lord. She enjoyed going to bible study and worship. She was never afraid to tell people how much she loved the Lord.

Trista had a larger-than-life personality and always found ways to brighten anyone’s day that was around her. She always loved making people laugh and smile. She knew how to brighten up a room and make sure everyone around her knew how much she loved them and always made people smile. Trista is proceeded in death by her grandparents, John Davis, Retha and Alvis Gunn, Michael and Constance Schutlz, and great-grandmother Florine Horton.

Trista is survived by her three children, Constance Schultz and her spouse Blake VanMeter, Savannah Hicks, and Shawn Schultz-Hicks, her brother and his wife, John and Heather Schultz, her niece Harper Schultz, both of her parents, John and Sheila Schultz, and her grandson, River Drew.

Trista has touched So many’ lives and has made an impact on everyone she has met over the years. She was the light Of her parent’s lives. She was their hero. She was also her brother and her daughter’s first friend.
