Body Softball Team Falls in Extra Innings The Holdenville Wolverine fast pitch softball team played their best game of the year on Friday and lost to an extremely good Little Axe team in extra innings.Holdenville trailed 4-2 going into the bottom of the seventh.
The Holdenville Middle School Girls’ Cross Country team was all lined up and ready to run at Holdenville Lake. The girls raced one mile. Team members are:Left to Right: Autumn Doane, Lilly Leftwich, McKenzie Foster, Lainey McMinn, Maylee Barnett, Miracle Parish, Hailey Mcculley, Makaya Aguilar, and Sheleigh Fixico.

Body Softball season opens Holdenville High School sports seasons get underway this week. Coach Angel Johnson’s softball team will open their season at Lexington on Monday and then travel to Lindsay on Tuesday.
Holdenville Head Coach, Angel Johnson was a bit animated when she gave this series of instructions to this group of Wolverines. Coach Johnson and her staff are constantly teaching the game of softball to their players.

Body OSSAA Divides Class 2A The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Athletic Association has divided class 2A into 2 divisions. Class 2A has traditionally had 124 teams and there’s a significant variation in the size of the schools.

Body Wolverine Softball Team Scrimmages at Norman The Holdenville Wolverine fast pitch softball team will travel to Norman on Tuesday for their first scrimmage of the 2024 season.
Wolverine shortstop, Darcy Shepherd, dove to stop an obvious base hit and then threw to third base. Darcy is a sophomore and is expected to be one of Holdenville’s best hitters!

Body Wolverines picked 2nd in District Although the first day of practice is three weeks away, the hype for the 2024 football season has already begun.
Wolverine senior, Autumn Jackson, flashed a big smile as she completed her mile run on the first day of softball practice. The softball team has been working hard to prepare for the upcoming season.

Body Wolverine Basketball Team Dominates Summer Camps Holdenville Head Basketball Coach, Dillion Snow, has multiple good reasons to be proud of his team’s progress over the summer. The Wolverines played some tough competition in June and posted an impressive 34-4 record.

Body Wolverine Softball Girls have been busy The Holdenville Defender 8U softball team put their ring hands on home plate to commemorate their season. The rings were awarded to the Defenders for their runner-up performance in the World Series!

Body Holdenville Defenders qualify for World Series Patty Gasso and the Oklahoma Sooners proved to the world that they were the best team in NCAA Division I softball by winning the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.
THE HOLDENVILLE DEFENDERS ARE HEADED TO THE 8U WORLD SERIES IN SPRINGDALE ARKANSAS. The team has earned some serious hardware while they amassed a 22-0 record in league play.
