Body WOLVERINE BOYS WHIP ATOKA AND KINGSTON The Holdenville Boys’ Basketball team earned two impressive wins this past week. The boys whipped Atoka 86-34 and Kingston 58-53.
COACH LESLIE PHILLIPS-CARTE’S 7&8 GRADE GIRL’S BASKETBALL TEAM HAS WON 12 GAMES THIS SEASON. The girls paused from their winning ways to pose for a team picture. Body Anyone who has ever coached will tell you that they look forward to Homecoming and they dread Homecoming. The athletes who play the game can be distracted by a variety of things! The Homecoming festivities began at 5:20 last Friday.
Virginia Piza sank a crucial free throws in the final minute of Holdenville’s 32-26 win over Prague. Holdenville will travel to Atoka on Tuesday before returning home to host Kingston on Friday.

Body Malachi Henderson earns All-State Honors Holdenville Running Back, Malachi Henderson has been selected to play in the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State Game.
Holdenville’s Brett Bruner made this Mc-Loud defender do a strange dance step when he launched a long distance shot before the buzzer that ended a quarter, Bruner and the Wolverines will host Prague on Friday.

Body The unpredictable Oklahoma weather has postponed the start of the post Holiday basketball season. The Wolverines were scheduled to play three games last week in the Konawa Tournament but the Oklahoma weather drenched the area with a beautiful nine inch snow.
These two men made the fall of 2024 fun! Holdenville enjoyed an awesome football season! Wolverine football coach, David Barker and Golden Pride Band Director Sam Crosby united the Holdenville Community through their ability to produce a winning football team and a award winning band.

Body When asked about his teams’ practices over the Christmas Break, Holdenville head coach, Dillion Snow, praised his boys’ and girls’ basketball team for their hard work and progress. Now it’s time to put that progress to work.
Holdenville’s Xavier Randall looks to pass in the Wolverine’s win at McLoud. Holdenville will compete in the Konawa Tournament on Thursday.
