These four guys are the Wolverines of the Week! All four are senior members of the basketball team. The players tried hard and stuck it out to the end of the season.Although some received a considerable more playing time than others they were all Wolverines until the season’s end.

Former Holdenville High School all-state athlete

Former Holdenville High School all-state athlete, Emily Smith, is a member of the Northwestern Oklahoma University track team. Emily competed in the 60 meter hurdles at Wichita State University this last weekend and made into the finals. The stellar Holdenville athlete is a music education major and is touring with a regional all-star collegiate choir. According to Emily, choir and track keep her busy but she still maintains an extremely high grade point!

This January, Kaitlin had her 1st professional win on the Cactus Tour at Sun City Country Club with a final score of -9, along with three additional top 5 finishes on the tour. Kaitlin placed 3rd at the Twin Bridges Championship Symetra Event in New York.

Moss to Host Donkey Basketball

New rodeo stars will be born during the wild and crazy “Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show” at Moss School Gymnasium on March 6, 2022 starting at 4:00 pm! It is basketball played on real, live donkeys and it will be wilder than a rodeo and funnier than a circus! All local players will be riding, so come out and see someone you know try to ride a donkey and play basketball at the same time. It’s a thrill a minute, a spill a minute. Laugh as you’ve never laughed before at the wild and crazy Donkey Basketball show!

Wolverine Boys and Girls topple Stroud The Wolverine Boys’ and Girls’ basketball teams squared off with the Stroud Tigers on a festive senior night and both teams came away with decisive victories. The girls won 59-51 and the boys won 73-50.
7th grade boys basketball finished the season 14-3. They were Runners-up in both the Prague Tournament and the Stroud Tournament.
