Wallace Lewis Johnson Jr. passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at St Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 62.

Edward Jewell Crutcher passed away Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 in McLoud, Oklahoma at the age of 80. Edward was born September 1, 1941 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Lee Warren Crutcher and Betty L.

Christopher ‘Fuji’ McGirt passed away in Holdenville on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the age of 49 years. Chris was the son of Kenneth McGirt of Holdenville and Patricia (Larney) Lowe of Yeager. He was born on March 18, 1973, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was brought up and attended schools in Holdenville, and graduated Holdenville High School in 1991. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Education in Lawton, Oklahoma. He worked for Lopez Foods in food preparation and distribution until his health failed. Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Amy Larney, and Jimmy and Flora McGirt; his sister, Tuesday McGirt; four uncles, Bobby Larney, Amon Deere, Bobby McGirt, and Roland McGirt; and one aunt, Lou Ann McGirt. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Lowe of Holdenville; his father, Kenneth McGirt of Holdenville; six brothers, Jerry McGirt, Nick McGirt, Richard Lowe, Jordan Cantu, Horacio Martinez, and Xavier Martinez; four sisters, Christy Corona, Jamy Hicks, Amy Martinez, and April McGirt; Chris leaves a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other family members, and friends. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home-Lillye Chapel, and wake service was on Friday, August 12th, at 6:00pm. Chris was laid to rest at Wewoka Methodist Indian Church Cemetery in Yeager. Rev. Frank Moppin, Rev. Richard Larney, and Rev. Dave Wilson served as officiating ministers. Pallbearers were Curtis Greene, Jeff Allen, Oscar Godoy, Waylon Lasley Sr, Waylon Lasley Jr, Katcv Larney, T. J. Jesse, S. J. McLemore, Sanders McLemore, Bunnie ‘Bo’ Jesse, Russell Lowe, Randy McGirt, Anthony McGirt, Reggie McGirt, and Paul McGirt.

Services for Gwendolyn Sue (Stout) Edwards, 82, of Allen will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Allen Cemetery under the direction of Criswell Funeral Home where Tommy Azlin will officiate.

Janie Ann Harjo passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 66. Janie was born April 18, 1956 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to James Dale Faulkner and Elsie Mae (McGirt) Faulkner.

Janie Lanelle Meade was born June 16, 1955 in Midland, Texas to Montrose Bradley and Pauline (Ray) Bradley and passed from this life July 26, 2022 at her home in Indianola following an extended illness.

Elbert Gladney Clark of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to JD and Mable (Cummins) Clark on April 4, 1939 in Yeager (Holdenville), Oklahoma and passed from this life into the arms of his Lord on July 18, 2022 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years.
