Jeanette Diane Harjo was born December 29, 1947 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 74.

Birdie Joann Elam passed away Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at her home in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the age of 86. Birdie was born March 21, 1936 in Ferris, Oklahoma to Henry Lloyd Votaw and Lona Irene (Jorden) Votax.

Diana Lynn Langwell passed away Sunday, September 18th, 2022 at St John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 73. Diana was born March 26th, 1949 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Ray Madden and Julia (Jackson) Madden.

Bobby Joe Brittain passed away in Alma, Arkansas on Sunday morning, September 25, 2022, at the age of 89 years. The family will receive guests for viewing/ visitation at Penn West Baptist Church in Holdenville from 10:00am to 12:00 noon, with procession at noon to Holdenville Cemetery for graveside service.

Deryln Fountain Pope, 75, of Holdenville, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, September 10th, 2022, with her husband and daughter by her side. Deryln was born February 8th, 1947 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Deryl Fountain and Beverly (Booth) Fountain.

David Leon Irwin passed away September 3, 2022 in Midwest City, Oklahoma at the age of 74. David was born to Samuel Leon Irwin and Betty Jo Peebles Irwin.

Dr. James Albert Kunkel died September 1, 2022 from natural causes. He was born June 29, 1932 to Murray Kunkel and Florence Winters. He attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma where he met a Registered Nurse, Greta Sue Counts. They fell in love and were married at the First Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City.

Richard Tiger passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Friday, September 9, 2022, at the age of 54 years. Richard was the son of Kenneth and Virginia ‘Butch’ (Davis) Tiger, born on May 3, 1968, in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Deryln Fountain Pope passed away Saturday, September 10th, 2022, at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Oklahoma. A service celebrating her life will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 16, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Penn West Baptist Church of Holdenville. Full obituary will follow.
