Sereda Christine Summerton passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, at Heritage Village Nursing Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 97. Sereda was

Sereda was born December 19, 1923 to Ancel Virgil Cross and Estil Gladine (Anderson) Cross. She married Harry Summerton. Sereda enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, listening to music, dancing, quilting, and embroidery. She loved spending time with her family. Sereda is preceded in death

Sereda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry, son Willard, and brother David Cross.

She is survived by her daughter Roberta Gurley and husband Thomas of Godley, Texas; grandchildren Amanda Gurley, Kyle Gurley, Garrett Summerton, Eddie Summerton, Nicole Gross, Lynette Cwiak, Willard Summerton Jr., Vinton Summerton, David Summerton, and Kathryn Summerton; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings Opal Cooper, Katie Sossoman, Lois Madron, Ruth Cullum, Edsil Cross, Donna Robinson, and Lloyd Wayne Cross. Sereda is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held 1:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, December 16 ^th , and 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Friday, December 17, at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home

Funeral service was held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 18 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville. Interment followed at Holdenville Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Herschel Lee Allen, 58, of Ada, Oklahoma passed away Friday, December 24th, 2021 in Ada.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Estes-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Ada. Interment will follow at the Many Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
