Nina Sneed Stewart
Nina Stewart passed away Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025 at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 87.
Nina was born July 17th, 1937 in Stoney Point, Oklahoma to John Franklin Sneed and Ruby Virginia (Clemens) Sneed. She graduated from Calvin High School in the Class of 1955. Nina was a carpenter for Idle Time Campers in Allen. She retired from JPMCO in Ada, OK. She also was a restaurant owner, insurance agent and worked for Kingberry Homes. Nina enjoyed quilting, canning, gardening and loved spending time with her family and friends. Nina was a long time member of the Gerty Church.
Nina is preceded in death by Dean Stewart, the father of her children, parents John and Ruby Sneed, son Jeff Stewart son-in-law Larry Mullicane and all of her siblings. She is survived by children; David Stewart of Boswell, OK, Melody Bonnell and husband Travis of Stuart, OK, Robyn Foster and husband Bruce of Allen, OK, Lawrence Stewart of Allen, OK, grandchildren; Bonnie Gimenez, John Stewart, Grant Mullicane, Abby Graham, Jerrica Shires, Lexi Wainscott, Luke Mullicane, Blake Fulton, Breah Stewart and daughter-in-law Brenda Stewart. Nina is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Grant Mullicane, Luke Mullicane, Blake Fulton, Jake Graham, Chance Shires, Donnie Sanders and Billy Shed. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Stewart, David Stewart, Lawrence Stewart and Jim Stewart.
Viewing will be 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Saturday, January 25th and 1:00pm to 5:00pm, Sunday, January 26th at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 10:00am, Monday, January 27, 2025 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Aaron Finney officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Calvin, Oklahoma. Following the interment, a family dinner will be hosted by the Gerty Church.
