OKLAHOMA STRONG - BJ “Lorde Butta” Owens, owner of Lotus Grove Studios in Holdenville (left), was greatly impressed the first time he heard a short clip of the song, Oklahoma Strong, James Ross, left, was writing. Owens dropped his studio fees and recruited a large number of area musicians, producers, and business owners to help record and promote the song, with proceeds being donated to the families of the two victims that were claimed by the April 27 tornado that struck Holdenville.

HOLDENVILLE RESIDENT SENTENCED FOR FEDERAL FIREARM CHARGE

Body MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Christopher Bryant Dilbeck, age 28, of Holdenville, Oklahoma, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammu- nition.
