HOLDENVILLE, Okla. (KFOR) – Holdenville Police said a woman is recovering in a mental health facility after they grabbed and saved her before she could jump off of a bridge. The twenty-minute nail-biting encounter was caught on body camera.

HOLDENVILLE, OK - In a recent court case, the City of Holdenville was found liable for breach of contract in a small claims lawsuit filed by Kara Richardson, pool operator for the 2022 swim season. According to court documents, Richardson alleged that the city failed to fulfill its contractual obligations, resulting in financial losses and early closure of the pool.

Pardon me for writing in first person but when I went to the cemetery on Memorial Day Weekend my memory drifted back to a decade or so ago when I ask my friend Larry Langwell how he got an ugly scar on his leg. Larry’s reply puzzled me because he said the scar was received on his senior trip. I was a bit puzzled at first because I had no memory of a senior trip!
