A noisy crowd, lots of action, and queens on their thrones punctuated the 26th annual Little Olympics staged by the Kiwanis Club at Wolverine Stadium Monday evening. The scene sometimes resembled bedlam, as youngsters from central, Diamond, Park View and Capitol Heights schools ran, jumped, dashed, relayed and yelled at one time at various locations on the field.

Audrey Miller, Mylisha Miller attended The American Legion Auxiliary 80th annual Oklahoma Girl’s State. May 28th-June2nd. They would like to Thank the American Legion and ESA for their sponsorship. While attending both girls ran for dif-ferent offices and enjoyed the experience and made lots of new friends.

(OKLAHOMA CITY_ The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board (OERB) selected Geralyn Haney as one of 20 outstanding high school seniors from across the state to serve on the first Student Board of Directors, which is a unique leadership opportunity. Haney served a one-year term and will receive a $2,000 scholarship for her continuing education.
