Body Wolverines shine at team camp The Holdenville Wolverine Football team traveled to Atoka this past week and made a positive showing. The 2022 team surprised the participating coaches with an outstanding performance on both offense and defense.

Body Dustin Ford is the newest member of the University of Oklahoma Cheer Squad. Dustin recently graduated from Southwestern Christian University and plans to attend the University of Oklahoma in the fall to further his education. He was selected to be a part of the OU Coed cheer team.

Body Harrison top county MOC finisher The Oklahoma Track Coaches Meet of Champions matches the top finishers in each class and lets them go head to head with the top competitors in the other classes.
Holdenville head football coach, David Barker, put the 2022 team through some spring workouts this week. The new head coach seems to be expressing his high expectations for the 2022 seasons.

Body OBU hosts Meet of Champions Only the best of the best in Oklahoma Track and Field will be invited to participate in the Oklahoma Cross Country and Track Coaches Association Meet of Champions. There are six classes or divisions (A-6A) in Oklahoma high school athletics.
Holdenville slugger, Brooklyn Brown, has been named to the All-State Softball Team. Brown hit 25 homers this spring to lead the Wolverines in that category.

Body Holdenville Wolverine long jumper, Eddie Jennings, proudly displays the first place medal he won at the state championship track meet! Eddie leaped 21 feet 7 1/2 inches to become the state champion!

Body Wolverine of the Week Cy Tiger is the Holdenville News Wolverine of the Week. Cy earned first place medals in the sprint relay races and the shot put at the track meet in Konawa.
Holdenville shot putter, Julius Jackson, prepares to take his turn at the meet in Konawa. The track team will travel to Madill on Saturday to compete in the regional track meet.

Body Wolverine softball squad looks to district The Holdenville Wolverine softball team will begin the 2022 play-offs when they travel to Calera for the district tournament. Holdenville head coach, Rick Scott, labels this district tournament as one of the toughest in the state.
Holdenville catcher, Bella Adam, swings away in Holdenville’s contest with Wewoka. Holdenville run ruled the Tigers by a score of 12-0.
