Body The Wolverines softball team started the season with three losses but Coach Scott’s team has definitely had a turn around. The Wolverines started the week with back to back wins over Beggs. Holdenville defeated the Demons 12-0 on Monday and 12-1 on Tuesday.

Body Holdenville will host Henryetta on Monday. The Wolverines will travel to Henryetta for a rematch on Tuesday. Allen comes to town for a Hughes County show down on Thursday.

Body The Holdenville Wolverine football squad will make the 6 mile trip west on Friday and open the 2021 season with a classic match up with the Wewoka Tigers. The Wolverine vs. Tiger contest has been going on for decades with very few exceptions.

Body In a latenight game over the weekend, the Moss Lady Pirates beat the Stuart Lady Hornets to become tournament champions in the Kiowa/Stuart Tournament. The game went 13 innings and lasted over 4 hours ending with a final score of 7-4 and a Moss victory.

Body Wolverines Tested in First Scrimmage Holdenville played host to an extremely good Okemah team last Thursday and the Wolverines learned a few things. The first time to go against another varsity squad is always a learning experience.

Body The Fall fast-pitch regular season begins in August and the playoffs begin the third week in September. That makes for a short regular season! There’s a lot of games to play and a short time to play them!
