Some of his favorite things were going to flea markets and antique shows, and watching Thunder basketball and OU Sooner football. He enjoyed wood working and making small birdhouses and other novelties. He loved music in general, especially Country music, and loved to play guitar and sing. What he loved best was music and dancing, so he and Nellie danced six nights a week and practiced on the seventh.
