Service to be held for Cathy Madron

Cathy Lynn Madron passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 in Searcy, Arkansas at the age of 68.

Cathy was born June 4, 1953 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Elmo Ward and Deloris (Karr) Ward. Cathy graduated from Holdenville High School and later received her Associates Degree. Cathy married Willard Madron.

She worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Holdenville General Hospital for many years. Cathy loved spending time with her family, taking care of people, going to Pat’s Cafe on Fridays and going on vacation. She also had served as President of the Justice School Board.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, husband Willard, and brother Scott Ward.

She is survived by her children, Vicki Paxton and husband Tim of Okemah, Brandy Madron of Wewoka, Lisa Ali and husband Mohammad of Wewoka, and Alea Madron of Wewoka; seven grandchildren; brothers Jeff Ward of Holdenville and Jimmy Ward and wife Elizabeth of Alaska.

Viewing will be 4:00pm-7:00pm Monday, October 18 ^th , and 9:00am-7:00pm Tuesday, October 19 ^th , at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home,

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 20 ^th , at the First Baptist Church in Holdenville with Pastor James Poulain officiating. Interment will follow at Tate Mountain Cemetery, Wewoka, Oklahoma

Pallbearers are Brandy Madron, Mohammad Ali, Chris Bryan and William Harrison.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
