Richard Nunes

Richard Wayne Nunes passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the age of 62.

Richard was born June 14 ^th , 1959 in Castro Valley, California to Joyce Enoch and Ernest Nunes. He married Grace Ervin on April 14, 1978 in Madera, California.

Richard enjoyed working as a mechanic, playing and teach the guitar, as well as making people laugh as often as possible. Richard was a devoted husband, loving father, a charismatic grandfather, and a dog lover to boot.

Richard loved life, love his family, and will be missed by so many.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce, and his brother, Frank Waugh. Richard is survived by his wife,

Richard is survived by his wife, Grace of the home; daughters Jen Perez and family of Madera, California, Shannon Nunes of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; sons, Doug Nunes of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Ricky Nunes of Holden ville, Oklahoma, and Michael Nunes and family of Holdenville, Oklahoma. Richard’s legacy carries on with 15 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Richard is also survived by four brothers, Roger Nunes of Red Bluff, California, Edward Waugh of Lynchburg, Tennessee, Alan Edmonds of Lancaster, Oklahoma, and Preston Ming of Fresno, California; and three sisters, Andrea Nunes of Red Bluff, California, Naomi Velosco of Weaverville, California, and Naomi Ming of Fresno, California.

Honorary pallbearers will be Douglas Nunes, Ricky Nunes, Michael Nunes, David Worsham , Richard Worsham, Tim Wood , Manuel Perez, Sr., Manuel Perez, Jr., Michael Sanchez, Ronnie Caudell, Jack Caudell.

Services will be Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Holdenville Church of the Nazarene.
