Our Sympathy Extended to the Family of James Ray Gustin

James Ray Gustin passed away Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 at Feather Stone Assisted Living in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 71.

James was born July 14th, 1955 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Raymond Elsworth Gustin and Sheila Arlene (Bagwell) Gustin. He graduated from Holdenville High School. James worked as a mechanic for John Gibbs Motor Company and Tanner Chevrolet for many years. He enjoyed raising cattle, gardening and garage sales. James loved spending time with his family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Sheila Gustin. He is survived by his sons; Andy Gustin and wife Jamie of Dale, Tony Gustin and wife Lorri of Ada, Tim Gustin and wife Angie of Shawnee, grandchildren; Brittany Sears, Brandon Baker, Gage Gustin, Trisitie Sanford, Kenzie Gustin, Logan Gustin, A.J. Gustin, Torri Broge and husband Noah, Jonas Branch, Avery Gustin, numerous great grandchildren, brother Tommy Gustin of Holdenville. James is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are Cole Smith, Bryan Smith, AJ Gustin, Jogan Gustin, Jonas Branch, Brandon Barker and Gage Gustin.

Viewing will be 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Hudson Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Martin Gustin officiating with Donna Gustin assisting.
