Our Sympathies extended to the families of... Susie Mae Anderson

Devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Susie Mae Anderson, 88, passed peacefully into her Savior’s loving arms on Wednesday morning, February 17, 2021. She was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Joseph and Dovie Hartsell. Her last days were spent at home surrounded by her husband, Roy, her youngest daughter Angelia and grandchildren.

Susie loved traveling to beautiful places alongside her husband during many of their traveling adventures throughout the years. Susie was a Christian school kindergarten teacher for many years in Riverside, California. She also worked at Westminister Funeral Home later in life. She was a wise, kind, gentle spirit who embraced everyone with her warmth and acceptance.

She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Roy Anderson Jr.; daughter-in-law Shirley Anderson; sisters Louise Heath, and Edna Sherin; and brothers Willard Hartsell and Elmer Joe Hartsell.

She is survived by her husband, Roy; along with her children Sherry Grajkowski, Harold Anderson, and Angelia Holland; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral service was 1:30 pm, Saturday, February 27 ^th , at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Holdenville, Oklahoma with Robert Heath officiating.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville.
