Melanie Deon Tomlinson

Melanie Deon Tomlinson passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at her home in Calvin at the age 49.

Melanie was born December 22, 1970 in Wewoka to Quinton Yarbrough and Donna (Lowe) Nall. Melanie graduated from Calvin Public Schools. She attended Beauty College and Free Will Baptist Church of Calvin. She enjoyed painting and doing hair. Melanie loved the rain, thunderstorms, dragonflies, her animals, her boys, spending time with family and friends.

Melanie is survived by her parents; Quinton Yarbrough and wife, Karen of Gerty, Donna Nall and husband, Bill of Calvin; sons: Dakota Tomlinson and wife, Courtney of Ponca City, Tyler Tomlinson and wife, LaTonya of Bristow, Blakely Tomlinson (Shyenne Pepper) of Calvin; three grandchildren: Blayden Tomlinson, Tehgan Tomlinson, Preston Tomlinson and one on the way. Melanie is survived by numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers were Dakota Tomlinson, Tyler Tomlinson, Blakely Tomlinson, Dylon Barnhart, David Lowe and Jake Jones. Honorary pallbearers were Kelly Stringfellow and Joye Blaylock.

Funeral service were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Calvin Auditorium. Pastor Randal Miller officiated.

Interment followed at the Calvin Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
