Margaret Lee (Bane) Itson

Margaret Lee (Bane) Itson passed away Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 92.

Margaret was born September 12th, 1932, in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to William Fred Freeman and Avie (Akin) Freeman. Margaret attended Sasakwa Public School. Margaret married Charles Raymond Itson. She was a homemaker. Margaret loved quilting, knitting, camping, fishing and traveling.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, first husband William Ray Bane, husband Charles Raymond Itson and sibling Billy Joe Freeman. She is survived by her children; Danny Bane and wife Marcia of Hartshorne, Helen Marie Boyd of Holdenville, grandchildren; Robert Boyd and wife Lisa of Sasakwa, Darrell Boyd and wife Michelle of Gerty, Christine Crook of Perrin, TX, Kobee Boyd of Gerty, Brandon Beck and wife Amisty of Holdenville, 16 great grandchildren and brother Charles “Sonny” Freeman of Delaware, OK. Margaret is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.

Graveside service was held 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 13, 2025 at Little Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Ronnie Hunter officiating.

Interment followed at Little Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville.
