Local Pastor, Beloved Man of God Passes Away
Jimmie Charles Freeman of Sasakwa, Oklahoma went to join his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the age of 76. He was born on August 17, 1946 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Charles Napoleon Freeman and Freda Victoria (Cathey) Freeman.
Jimmie worked in the oil business must of his life, but his calling and passion was to save souls through Jesus Christ. Jimmie pastored at the Harvest Time Church in Holdenville from 2004 up until God called him home.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lou and Russell Freeman.
He is survived by his wife Patty Freeman of the home; a daughter Monica Versiamo of Oklahoma City; sister Lucille Gravlee of Enid; brothers Johnny Freeman of Sasakwa and Benny Freeman and wife Mary Lou of Arkansas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be Wednesday, December 14th, at 2:00 P.M. at Harvest Time Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma with Gail Beck officiating. Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wes Higgins, Rob Colbert, Vernon Lane, Bobby Dupree, Robert Merriman and Victor Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Ron Hardwick, Mark Parris, Gene Choate, Dexter Postoak, Tim Brady and Ozell Jones. Viewing will be 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 13th, at Hudson Phillips Funeral Home. Family will greet guest from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Harvest Time Church at PO Box 1062, Holdenville, Oklahoma 74848.
