Bernice Marsh

Bernice Dorothy (Walden) Marsh, born in Lamar, OK on January 6th, 1944 and passed from this life on May 19, 2025 at Heritage Village Nursing Home.

She was born to Alvie G. and Myrtle Dove (Beck) Walden. She was married to William Leroy Marsh on November 27, 1962 in Holdenville, OK. She was a homemaker until her children were grown then she worked for DHS and ONHL as a home health provider. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses in Wewoka until she started getting ill.

Bernice is Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leroy, one granddaughter Jessica in 2004, one great grandson Elijah in 2009. Her sister Shirley Hood and four brothers Hugel, Harold, Eugene, and Kenneth Walden. She is survived by her children, James (Shelia) Marsh Of Berryville, AR, Paula (David) Davis of Hot Springs, AR and Michael (Shirley) Marsh of Holdenville. Grandchildren Troy, Robin, Cory, Laci, Amber, Nicole and Joshua, 14 great grandchildren and one brother Alton Walden of Wetumka, OK. Bernice is survived also by a host of family and friends. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Heritage Village Nursing home. Pallbearers are Troy Marsh, Shane Hunter, Joshua Marsh, Chris Persinger, TJ Daffern, and Robby Daffern. Honorary Pallbearers are her granddaughters, great grandchildren and Cory Baxley. Viewing will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dane Robinson officiating.

Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
