Augustine Cully

Augustine Cully passed away March 8, 2023 at Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 65.

Augustine was born August 29th, 1957 to Bennie Cully and Mary (Harjo) Cully in Claremore, Oklahoma. Augustine attended Eufaula Public School.

Augustine was a member of the Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa. She enjoyed playing basketball, going to stomp dances and church.

Augustine loved her family and coffee.

Augustine is preceded in death by her parents, sons; Harold Island and Charlie Harrison, brothers; Leon Harjo, Tommy Frank, Henry Frank Jr., Jimmy Harjo, Frankie Harjo, sisters; Geraldine Frank and Jeannie McDaniel. She is survived by her children; Mary Island of Tulsa, Marsha Harrison of Tulsa, Steven Harjo of Tulsa, Christian Harrison of Tulsa, 22 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, siblings; Bill Cully of Haysville, KS, Johnnie Cully of Haysville, KS, David Cully of Ada, sisters; Angeline Wolfe of Tulsa and Wanda Little of Cromwell, OK. Augustine is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Justin Gray, Michael McDaniel, Edwin Doctor, Elijah Lewis, Hvbon Lewis and Jessy Simmons.

View will be at 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Saturday, March 11th and 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., Sunday, March 12th at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Wake service will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 13, 2023 at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa, OK with Pastor Frank Moppin officiating.

Interment will follow at Wolf-Cully Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, OK.
