Wanda Dodson

Wanda Dodson age 77, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was born November 11, 1948 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Abler Davis and Nora (Tiger) Davis.

She graduated from Sasakwa Highschool. Wanda worked as a CNA at Holdenville General Hospital and Heritage Village Nursing Home for over 40 years. She was a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma and Tokvbvche Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping, going to garage sales, running around with Jeanie Hill, making candy baskets for all her nieces and nephews of every generation, raising her puppy Pixis, and showing her affection by way of raising her middle finger to you.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Jessie Davis, Tom Davis, Joe Davis, Willie Davis, Lana Davis Bowlegs, Jeanith Davis, Flora Davis Factor, 4 nephews, 1 niece, 1 great-nephew, and 1 great great niece.

Wanda is survived by her sister/bestfriend, Jeanie Hill; 4 nieces, Loren Davis, Gail Bowlegs, Cynthia Davis, and Caitlyn Factor; 2 nephews, Kenny Bowlegs, and Donald Davis; 21 great-nieces and nephews; 35 great great nieces and nephews; 14 great great great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M on Monday, December 1, 2025 and 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Wake service will be held from 6:00 P.M - 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, OK.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Pastor Paul Fixico officiating. Assisted by Robert Davis. Interment to follow at Davis Family Cemetery in Sasakwa, OK.

Pallbearers: Kenny Bowlegs, Jay Hill, Billy Lucas, Ben Gravatt, AJ Davis, Robert Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers: Treven Harjo and Scotty Hill.
