EXECUTIVE SESSION BREACHES BY CITY COUNCIL TO BE INVESTIGATED

In a narrow vote, the Holdenville City Council voted to invite Oklahoma state agencies, including the State Auditor, to investigate breaches of executive sessions. A few months ago, sensitive information from one of the council’s executive sessions was shared on social media by a citizen who is not a member of the council.

In the month of October, the Holdenville Police Department took just over 80 calls for service, made 22 arrests, wrote 11 citations and gave 54 warnings.
