HOLDENVILLE PD RECEIVES MAJOR UPGRADES

Holdenville Police Department (HPD) received major upgrades at last Tuesday’s city council meeting helping bring the department into the 21st Century with much needed equipment. Chief Kyle Lening requested approval for several new items including new iPhone 13’s and iPads for officers and units with U.S.Cellular for Geosafe/E-ticketing/ ODIS in car setups, 3 Mobile-Brother Rug-ged Jet Printers for patrol cars, 5 tasers for current staff, OLETS mobile date contract for Query Use, 5 in 1 winter coats for 5 Officers, a locker for the evidence room, and 3 stalker due radars for patrol cars. All of this equipment will be purchased with money already allocated for the police department budget and will not require a budget increase.
