SYDNEY ROBINSON, EDDIE JENNINGS INDUCTED INTO WOLVERINE SPORTS HALL OF FAME AT HHS
Body
Last Saturday a crowd gathered to watch Murphy Graham from Heritage Hall High School try to break the state 3A high jump record. Graham had left the competition behind at 6’4’’ and he cleared 6’8’’. Now….he had 3 attempts to tie the state 3A track meet record of 6’10”. That record had been set by Holdenville’s Bobby Sanford back in 2005. There’s an old saying that records are made to be broken….. The Wolverines in the crowd weren’t exactly cheering for Sanford’s record to be tied or broken.
