ST. PAUL’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH TO HOST SPAGHETTI DINNER

Body
For the second spring in a row, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will host a free spaghetti dinner on Thursday, May 25 at 5:30. Although we encourage folks to dine-in, carry-outs will be available. As communing is one of Christ’s chief directives, so too, the simple sharing of a meal, for in so doing we get to know our neighbors. All are invited to the table.

HOLDENVILLE TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO MAJOR DRUG BUST

Body
On 05/04/23 at approximately 07:30 PM, Sgt. Maisano and Officer Rippee observed a white 2021 Chevy Colorado traveling northbound on Main Street near Gulf Street. The pickup was traveling 44mph in a posted 25mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop which led to the discovery of 163lbs of illegally grown and illegally transported black market marijuana in the truck bed. The driver admitted to transporting illegal loads of marijuana “because it pays better than legal transports.”
