Wolverine Sports by Tom Turner

Body
The Fall fast-pitch regular season begins in August and the playoffs begin the third week in September. That makes for a short regular season! There’s a lot of games to play and a short time to play them! Holdenville’s season began on Monday and the Wolverines played back to back days with the Morris Eagles. Unfortunately Holdenville came out on the short end of both games. The Wolverines had a bad case of first game jitters at the start of Monday’s game and lost 14-11. The Wolverines traveled to Morris on Tuesday and lost 7-5.
Holdenville hurler, Cylee Dunn, winds up to throw a strike in Holdenville’s contest with Morris. Cylee and her teammates will face off with Eufaula and Tishomingo this week.
