The Holdenville Wolverine fast pitch softball season officially began Monday with the girls traveling to Bethel for the season opener. The Wolverines have been working in the heat since July 15 and now it’s time to start playing for real. Wolverine head coach, Rick Scott, is pleased with the team progress. Things were a little rough at first but the team is getting better. The Wolverines lost a strong senior class to graduation and are trying to rebuild. The Wolverines are young but the coaching staff is optimistic.

EXCITING NEWS Let’s give a BIG Wolverine Welcome to Ms. Tristan Wood! Ms. Wood will be joining our Kindergarten team. Hello everyone! My name is Tristan Wood. I grew up in Holdenville and graduated with the class of 2016. I went to Seminole State College to earn my Associates in Health Sciences in 2017, then to Northeastern State University to earn my BBA in Accounting in 2020. I decided to make the career change and began pursuing teacher certification in 2021. I have spent this last year at Tahlequah schools with kindergarten and loved every minute of it! Some of my favorite things to do are crafting, painting, spending time with my boyfriend Aaron, golfing, being outdoors, and traveling. I am looking forward to coming back to Reed, where I attended so many years ago, and Let’s give a warmwelcome to Elisha Lunsford! She is going to be teaching Pre-K at Reed!
