January 6, 2026 Holdenville Lions Club met at Boom a rang Diner for their regular breakfast meeting. The meeting was called to order by President, Lion Theresa Barkhimer. She asked for the flag salute and invocation.

A powerful winter storm swept across much of the United States over the weekend, bringing widespread snow, ice, and travel disruptions. In Holdenville, the storm delivered between 8 and 10 inches of snow, creating hazardous road conditions but causing minimal damage overall.
