HOLDENVILLE MAN PLEADS GUILTY

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Lariat Wayne Jagger, age 32, of Holdenville, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to one count of Felon in Possession of Firearm and Ammunition, punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Lady Powerlifters head to Regionals The Holdenville High School Girls’ Powerlifting Team made a good showing at the meet in Chandler. Lainee Yates, Madisyn Wilkerson, Lani Dentler, Raelee Johnson and Kylierae Leftwich all won medals at the meet.
Holdenville All-State basketball player, Kase Sipes, was presented with an All-State Jacket at a recent varsity game. Kase earned All-State Honors during the Wolverines 2024-2025 season

CITY LIMB AND BRUSH PICKUP BEGINS MARCH 2

With winter coming to and end and Spring just around the corner, many area residents are already starting to take advantage of the warmer weather to start trimming back the dead and lengthy limbs on their property. Others may have dead limbs and branches from the summer storms that need to be cleaned up. Street Commissioner Larrry Foster reminds Holdenville residents that the City of Holdenville will be providing the traditional Fall curbside pickup of brush and limbs during the month of October so they can begin planning their yard work strategy.
