ILLEGAL POT FARM BUSTED IN HOLDENVILLE

On July 1, 2025, OBN’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams (MET) served a Search Warrant at DJX Farms, 7675 E. 131 Rd. Holdenville, Hughes County, Oklahoma as part of an ongoing OBN MET investigation into illegal marijuana cultivation. Operators of the grow were using an OBN Registration obtained by fraud involving a ‘straw ownership’ scheme. OBN MET Agents seized 3,853 plants and 118 pounds of processed marijuana. Arrests are pending as this cases moves forward. OBN MET was assisted by the Hughes County Sheriff’s Office & Hughes County Commissioners Office. Since 2021, OBN MET Agents have shut down over 6,000 illegal marijuana farms through enforcement and/or administrative actions for grows tied to black market trafficking and obtaining an OBN Registration by fraud using ‘straw ownership’ schemes. At the end of 2022, 8,400 farms were operating with an active OBN Registration. Today, that number stands at approximately 2,100.
