Spring brought the thing called “love” and love brought a mixture of trouble and fun. So ends another hilarious year, and in this column lie the remains and results of the private lives of the students of H. H. S.

The Holdenville Lions Club began February with Mike Lindley as our guest speaker. He is the WED – Workforce and Economic Development Director at Wes Watkins Tech Center in Wetumka. He informed the Lions members about some of the training that Wes Watkins has available to get the student into a good paying job when they finish the training. Some of those include truck driving, bus driver, man-lift and fork-lift. Also office skills such as excel and quick books, and child development classes are available. He stated that training can be tailored to the needs of a business or set up when there is demand for the course. During the business portion of the meeting the Treasurer, Lion Steve Enos, reported that the Regular and Service accounts are both in very good shape for the rest of this year.
