Holdenville High School Basketball Coach, Dillion Snow, has been named the 66 Conference Boys’ Coach of the Year and the 66 Conference Girls’ Coach of the Year. Both the Holdenville High School girls and boys had outstanding seasons.
Bo Black started on the mound in Holdenville’s home opener game against Casady. The Wolverines posted 2 wins against 2 losses in the first week of the 2024 season.

Hughes County gave Donald Trump one of the highest majorities in the nation Super Tuesday. The former president received almost 95% of the votes in Hughes County on his way to an astonishing 902 votes compared to Nikki Haley’s 60.
