Caren Marie Bennett passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at her home in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 72. Caren was born May 25, 1951 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Ardal Hayes and Frances (Hampton) Hayes.

Jim passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loved ones on September 24, 2023 at the age of 77 years. Jim was born to Homer Clell Lankford and Ima Lee (Morris) Lankford in Holdenville.

Gregory Steven Boyd, age 63, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was born December 16, 1960 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to the late Othor Vaden Boyd and Ruby Virginia (Swope) Boyd.

Wolverines Win District The Holdenville boys’ and girls’ basketball teams earned district championships with impressive wins over the Henryetta Knights! The girls began the Saturday night contests with a 7235 win and the boys followed with a 70-50 win. The District Championship plaque was the second trophy the girls earned last week.
