Jacqueline (Angel) Marie Hailey passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at her home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 59. Angel was born February 13, 1963 to Odell and Pearl Blair in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
Chris Babb was this year’s key note speaker at this year’s Chamber banquet. After graduating in 2005, Chris attended Oklahoma State University graduating with a major in Petroleum Geology. Babb later continued his education at OSU graduating with a Masters in Science. Babb is presently the Director of Accounts with MCWL Paladin Geological. Chris and his wife, Melissa have two children and reside in Broken Arrow.
After 40 years of working in the insurance field, Robert and Vicki Taylor have decided to retire. In February, they combined their Allen Insurance Agency with Robert G. Taylor & Associates and Casey and Kim LaValley have taken over the business. Going forward, all of the clients from the Allen agency will be serviced through the Holdenville office and can be reached at 405-379-2176. Congratulations to Robert and Vicki on a well-deserved retirement and for the great service they provided to the Allen and Holdenville communities through American Farmers & Ranchers insurance. Ronnie Dale Guinn passed away in Ada, Oklahoma on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the age of 70 years. He was born on September 19, 1951 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Dale and Barbara (Stacy) Guinn.
James Roger Evans passed away Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at his home in Eufaula, Oklahoma at the age of 77. Roger was born September 7th, 1944 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to James Henry Evans and Mildred (Neal) Evans.
Wolverine softball team wins trophy The Holdenville softball team traveled to Okmulgee last week to play in the Bull Dog Classic and won the second place trophy. The Wolverines defeated Liberty 15-2, McAlester 15-3 and Dewar 8-6 to earn their way into the finals.
